Christine Glasgow is a mixed media artist specialising in work inspired by her walks in parks near her home on Glasgow’s Southside. She likes to get out into nature as often as possible and uses her walks and her art to help her manage her mental health.

She is especially inspired by vibrant colour and texture and uses a variety of brushes, and tools such as sponges to create large canvasses full of movement and gesture. Her work is impressionistic in style and full of action up close. Christine says she that painting and nature bring her joy and she hopes that that joy is spread to the viewer.
