Gary Morrow was born in Glasgow but now lives and paints in scenic County Wicklow, Ireland. He has a degree in Computer Science and worked at Strathclyde University for over 10 years before pursuing a painting career. 

He is self taught and inspired by Caravaggio, Titian and The Glasgow Boys. Before moving to Ireland, he was an elected artist member of the historic Glasgow Art Club where the Glasgow Boys frequented.
