Kathryn is a contemporary abstract artist with a deep love for colour. She describes it as the heart of her practice and the way she expresses emotion, memory and connection. Kathryn works mostly in mixed media, collage, hand-painted papers, and repurposed material because it gives her the freedom to explore texture, shape and layering in intuitive, unexpected ways.

Each piece takes its own path. No two are ever the same. Kathryn enjoys the challenge of bringing together complex elements, finding harmony, then gently disrupting it to create visual tension. Collage especially allows her to weave together fragments that might not seem to belong, but somehow do.

Much of her work explores memory, nostalgia, and the quiet ways our lives connect. Kathryn is drawn to shared moments, familiar forms and the stories hidden in everyday materials.
