Bernadette is a self-taught artist, born, living and working in Glasgow. She takes her artistic inspiration from nature and describes being surrounded by nature as her soul-nourishment. 

“It takes me from the workaday world of the mundane into the invigorating realm of creation itself, where there is nothing but an intensely alive silence, empty of the chattering mind, and full of profound beauty.” 

Bernadette’s bold, dynamic brushstrokes and striking use of colour capture moments ‘when light and matter meet and dance together in glorious harmony - those moments when everything seems to be lit up from within.’
