Born in Hungary Anita first started painting icons in 2009. While being mentored she learned how to use among other materials Venetian chalk and paints created from pigments and egg tempera. Now residing in Aberdeen she was recently commissioned to paint an icon for the visit of Pope Francis to Hungary. These religious icons are extremely impactful full of detail with stunning gold leaf work.
