Steven Higginson is a successful full-time artist based in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Scotland. Born in 1982 Dumfries, Scotland, he gained an HND in Art & Design after leaving school. He moved to Dundee whilst studying for his degree in Fine Art 2001. Studying traditional techniques in oil and watercolour, Steven has spent time in Paris, Venice, Rome and Madrid studying works of the old Masters, namely Velaquez, Caravaggio and Manet.
