Our new exhibition begins on Friday the 8th of May, with our preview evening between 6pm and 8pm. There will be drinks, canapes, and the chance to speak with some of the artists.
Scotland has almost 800 islands, from the Inner and Outer Hebrides to the Northern isles of Orkney and Shetland, to Arran and Bute. 'Journey to the Islands' showcases the scenic beauty, nature, wildlife, and cultural attractions through artist interpretations of the places and things that they came across on their travels.
We have a large range of seascapes, landscapes, both muted and vibrant are available, abstracts, collage, print, and quirky animal paintings.
Confirmed artists:
Barry Adamson: Traditional Scottish landscapes in acrylics and oils. Barry's work is beautifully detailed and vibrant.
Helen Butler: Quirky and vibrant Scottish landscapes, steampunk, animals, and nature.Helen has been working more on the wild waves and rugged coastline scenes. She gets her inspiration from the beautiful scenery around Argyll. She also enjoys painting seabirds and wildlife. Helen works with a variety of mediums, including watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, pastel and pyrography on wood.
Caroline Dyet: Seascapes and landscapes in acrylic and pastels. Caroline loves capturing the characterful Scottish coastlines and countryside. Much of her inspiration comes from places she visit while on trips with Betsy, her motorhome.
Her style is bold and colourful, laced with vibrant accents and highlights.

Brittany Ferguson: Atmospheric Scottish landscapes in watercolour. These have a real ethereal, luminous quality, and Brittany's use of colour is phenomenal.
Naoimh O'Shea:Unique Scottish landscapes in watercolour and oils. Naoimh draws inspiration from the rich natural beauty & cultural heritage of Scotland.
Collette Howie: Print artist specialising in nature and animals. Collette's art practice involves exploring the wildlife and nature in Scotland. She has been on several solo retreats to the beautiful Scottish islands to observe and sketch what she finds.
These are then developed to become Lino Prints, Drypoint Prints, and Coloured Pencil Art.

Ruby Marr:Scottish seascapes, landscapes, water, and immersive art. Ruby is a pioneer in immersive art, breathing life into her paintings with sound and vision. Ruby's work features a QR code to see the work come to life.

Aska Marzec: Stunning Resin paintings of moving water. Aska's paintings feature bright colours, and are filled with light, creating a calm and uplifting atmosphere.

Kathryn McFarlane: Vibrant collage art. Kathryn's work begins with colour. Collage lets her gather what’s been overlooked and give it new life, shaping materials into something whole and quietly surprising. Collage can also embrace a wide range of materials that offer different textures, histories and moods.

Stephen Murray: Traditional Scottish landscapes in acrylics. He is inspired by the magnificent scenery of Scotland. Stephen chooses subjects for their beauty or their part in Scottish History or Culture.

Neringa:Calming, dreamlike watercolour landscapes and seascapes. Her inspiration comes from the natural world and folklore. Neringa uses watercolour to create a textured, almost abstract atmospheric landscapes.

Isla Prentice: Landscapes and seascapes in oil. Her unique style combines traditional techniques with contemporary elements, creating a distinctive blend that is both evocative and modern. Her work is characterised by bold colours, dynamic compositions and a deep sense of place, which invite viewers to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Scotland’s Landscapes.
Linda Ross: Impressionist style shifting landscapes and seascapes in oil. Linda masterfully portrays the dance of light, colour, and atmosphere through expressive brushstrokes and vibrant palettes.
Lindsay Rutherford:Vibrant abstract landscapes and seascapes inspired the Highlands and Islands.
Sarah Wakeford: Contemporary rich toned, vibrant landscapes. Sarah captures the diverse beauty in colour and light.
Claire Wills: Dreamlike and semi-abstract landscapes with patterns and textures found in nature. Bold, vibrant colours that capture atmosphere, and energy.
