Marina McKay - The Cold Road to Spring

Marina was born in Russia, and also has Ukranian and Tatarian roots. She has lived in Scotland for more than 20 years. Marina has been painting since childhood, but life took her on another path for a while. She went into Accountancy and project planning and has a BA and MSc in Project Management from UWS. 

Her passion for art was never forgotten and she studied at art schools in St. Petersburg and Moscow. She continues to learn, experimenting with different techniques and methods.

Landscape painting is Marina's most loved genre, particularly Scottish landscapes, full of grandeur and history. She finds that landscapes provide endless inspiration.
