Original resin painting
After coming from Poland 18 years ago, Aska fell in love with the Scottish landscape and started painting its stunning beauty. She settled in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.
She states that she was searching for stability, but what she found, especially on the Isle of Mull and in the Hebrides, was something deeper.
“Here, where sea and mountains meet, and the light is always changing, the landscape speaks directly to the soul. The islands slowed me down, opened me up, and taught me to see more clearly. I felt compelled to paint - not just what was in front of me, but what it stirred within and the viewer.”
“The Hebrides continue to shape my inner and outer world, and this work is my response to that gift. I am grateful to call this my life’s work.”
"Resin allows me to create beautiful, glossy layers, adding three-dimensional depth to the artwork that you will want to touch."
