Peter Reilly - Moonlit Whispers

Peter known as Pedro is a Glasgow born musician and artist. In the early 80`s and a young musician of 19 years old, he landed the job with Glasgow`s once legendary Jamie Barnes & Cochise and was a full time Bass player in Glasgow`s vibrant rock scene for decades. Now retired from Live music after some 40 years, he has rekindled his first love of painting.

“I just love moody forest scenes and capturing an almost mystical and peaceful piece of nature. I don’t want to copy a scene; I want to create one and with little preconceived idea I prefer letting a tree literally branch out from blank canvass and often just see where it takes me. Coupled with the predominant use of blues to capture a moonlit night and the addition of some forest animals I hope to achieve a place I’d like to be and hope the viewer would like to visit too.”
