Previously from Yorkshire, Jennifer now lives and works in Cumbria. Graduating with a BA(Hons) in Art and Design, Jennifer then went on to have a career as a therapist. Following the publication of eight books and workbooks which focus on ways to improve our emotional wellbeing and mental health using creativity, Jennifer returned to making art as a full-time artist. Her passion is drawing. 

A passionate wild swimmer, Jennifer is inspired to try and capture the tranquility and sensation of serenity, as well as the exhilaration of being in the water. It is the natural landscape and wildlife which predominantly inspires Jennifer’s artwork. 

All original drawings are done in ink and pencils. The colour goes down first, then the line work goes on top. The ink work is repeated several times to create a look that is similar to that of a woodcut or line print.
