Born in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, Ric became a wildlife artist and illustrator and was commissioned to carry out work for Yorkshire Television. Now a freelance artist exhibiting in galleries across the country, he specialises in scenic work and replicating small images onto large scale murals. His techniques and knowledge encompass marbling, optical illusions and ageing to name but a few.

Ric takes inspiration from the natural world, which can be seen from his walks through the British countryside.
