Jennifer Crowshaw - Splendour In The Grass

Oxford born Jennifer has lived in many countries but has made her permanent home in Oxfordshire. Her love of nature and trees in particular inspires her to paint the natural forms - trees, flowers, seed-heads and the landscapes around her Cotswold home.

Each tree is hand painted using metallic paints to enhance the light and shadows within the trees. Trying new combinations to achieve the required effect, she combines lino-printing and mixed media painting, resulting in vibrant detailed compositions.
