Hugh Kirkwood, Scottish artist from Invergordan, has a very powerful Christian belief that he should be doing more to glorify God in Art. Through his painting, he is acknowledging the beauty of God's creation in landscape, people and wildlife.

He is aware of his Scottish painterly heritage from artists such as Raeburn, McTaggart, The Glasgow Boys and Scottish Colourists....amongst many. He studied in both the Glasgow School of Art and in Chelsea. He accepts commissions by various private collectors.
