Elena Clark was born in Russia, but has lived in Glasgow for many years. She is currently based in the West End of Glasgow. Elena studied at the Glasgow School of Art.

Elena's work is inspired by the city's distinctive architecture, particularly its red sandstone buildings and tenements.

Elena works across oil, acrylic, and watercolour. She is currently focusing on watercolour for its fluidity and immediacy.
