"After 20 years in the teaching profession I decided to pursue my passion for painting and over the last few years have been working full time building up a portfolio.

My inspiration comes from the stunning and constantly changing Scottish coastlines and landscapes. I always find the light in Scotland very changeable and a fantastic challenge to paint.

My preferred medium at the moment is oils but I also enjoy using gouache and watercolours in my work. It is wonderful to have the time and opportunity to spend my days doing something that I feel so passionate about."
