Colin is a Scottish artist, well known for his beautiful small scale paintings of landscapes and flowers, along with the occasional hen, cockerel and pheasant! He graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and did a further year at Glasgow School of Art.

Colin then went on to work in Graphics and Architecture, until 1984, when he changed career and joined staff at the (then) Napier College in Edinburgh, where he lectured in Interior Design and Computer Aided Design for 16 years.  Colin still teaches workshops and gives demonstrations, but most of his time is spent on his own painting
