Born in Southern Thailand in 1979, Chaiyapong majored in Fine Art at the College of Fine Arts in Bangkok before completing a Bachelor degree in Fine Art at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology in Ladkrabank, Bangkok.

Using a unique process which incorporates a highly controlled drizzling of paint in the form of contour lines, to represent the facial structure and shadows of the female he paints. Bold bright colours applied to eyes and lips create the stark contrast to the palette of black and white.
