Caroline is an artist and art teacher / tutor based in Glasgow. She is a graduate from Grays School of Art, and now owns and runs The Wee Art Studio in Clarkston.

Caroline works across multiple mediums including gouache, oil, watercolours, ink, and collage.

Her artistic style is expressive, loose, and natural. Caroline is drawn to interpreting landscapes, from atmospheric city scenes at night to the rural vistas of her home region of Galloway, as well as still life compositions featuring abstracted flowers.

"Recently, I've been exploring spontaneous mark-making and gestural brushwork. My use of colour is intuitive, guided by what I see and feel rather than literal representation. My mixed media work incorporates handmade collaged papers, pencil, inks, gouache, pastels, and any materials that offer interesting textural and mark-making possibilities."
