Jorge Bellver, known as Velviche or Vilches in the art, world was born in Valencia in 1959.

His family moved to Madrid where he studied in the Fine Art School. He started working life in technical drawing and in 1985 changed to illustration and decoration. He joined the Watercolour Spanish Association Painters in 1992. His artistic career began and love of painting became his passion. In 1995 he had his first solo exhibition in Valencia.
