Born in Edinburgh to a Polish father and a Scottish mother, Pat discovered her love and talent for painting from the age of five, when she got her first paint box for Christmas. She studied textiles and weaving at Jordanstone School of Art in Dundee, all the while still painting and exhibiting her work in various galleries. In 2000 she made the decision to follow her dream and become a full-time artist. Her background in textiles is evident in her paintings which are full of texture, light and colour.
