Gisela was born in 1955 in Bunde, Germany. She has worked as a freelance artist since 1982.

Influenced by Salvador Dali, her works were surrealistic but fine and detailed. Through time she began to reduce the details in favour of colour and composition. The simplicity of form and natural colour is now her expression of life through art.
