After graduating from Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen with an Honours in Painting in 2009, and a Master of Fine Art in 2010, Rebecca has spent over a decade developing an intuitive, process-led practice. 

Inspired by the natural landscape of North East Scotland and shaped by her upbringing on the Moray coast, Rebecca’s work moves between landscape and abstraction, capturing fleeting moments, memories, and emotional responses to land and sea.

 Now living in the city, Rebecca finds herself drawn even more deeply to wilderness, gathering impressions of raw natural energy that filter organically into layered mixed media pieces. Working rhythmically and without fixed plans, she allows each work to evolve and guide its own completion, creating intimate, atmospheric pieces that invite viewers to connect with a shared sense of place and feeling.
