Originally from Germany, Gerhard moved to Vienna in Austria where he still lives. After a military career he decided to pursue a life in the Arts. The early days, he mostly created pen and ink drawings, however, since beginning his work in Oil painting he has become a very skilled and sought after artist, collected by selective art collectors all over the world.
