Wayne Westwood was born in Birmingham in 1964 and from a very early age, longed for the country life rather than the city and took every opportunity to venture out into the countryside, to sketch and draw as a child.

He is a self taught artist with no formal training and has supplemented his income by doing various jobs, including picture framing, making stained glass windows and farm work.

He has developed his technique over the years and his fine attention to detail allows him to produce work of the highest calibre. He has had work published and had various articles in wildlife and art magazines. Work has also been sold at Christies Wildlife and sporting Art auctions.
