She graduated in Illustration \u0026amp; Printmaking from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2004. She then went to do a PGD in Theatre Design and worked freelance with various theatre companies for a few years before having a family. Lynsay then returned to her love of painting and illustrating, working on various illustration projects and has exhibited her vibrant landscapes and other works in galleries around Scotland.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLynsay works from her garden studio and creates brightly coloured, expressive landscape in acrylics, taking her inspiration from Scottish scenery. She paints in layers, scraping back to reveal the first hues of colour. She uses different techniques with brushes, rags, palette knives and found objects to create interesting marks and textures on a variety of surfaces. She has a love for bold, bright, vivid colours and how these colours complement each other creating a fun, lively and energetic style to her work.
