Jose Higuera, Spanish figurative painter, was born in 1966. His talent for drawing and painting was encouraged from a very early age. He was put under the tutelage of local artists to initiate him in the knowledge of some techniques, however, he is basically self-taught. At the moment he lives in Cantabria (North of Spain) and the realism in his works continues to be the main characteristic.

He has presented his work at a number of exhibitions throughout Spain, USA, Korea and Taiwan.
