Gail is a self-taught artist and has been self-employed for 5 years, although art has interested her for most of her life. A lot of her work is commissioned based and her paintings go far afield to Europe, the USA and Australia. 

As a youngster, she was much inspired by album cover artist Rodney Matthews and credits him with igniting her unconventional, distinctive and quirky style. Gail resides in Dunning, Perthshire.
