Jay Nottingham - Secret Cottage

Born 1972, Bedfordshire.

From an early age Jay has followed in the footsteps of his artistic family. His Grandfather and Great Grandfather were both artists, so colour and design have surrounded him throughout his life.

Jay has had no formal training as an artist. He has developed his own technique and subjects to paint. These include woodland views, florals and landscapes.The impasto style of Jay's work is created with a palette knife give his paintings a  

three dimensional effect. He is now expanding the variety of subjects he paints to include Tuscany landscapes and harbour views.
