Juan Aliaga was born in 1964 in southern Spain, son of the renowned artist Osvaldo Casabuena. Juan has painted and been immersed in the art world from a young age and he has been educated extensively in the arts across the world.

Aliaga's work varies from bold and vibrant pop art figurative work to more monochromatic and abstract pieces. It's always interesting to see an artist evolve and hold the ability to work across multiple styles, and Aliaga's work is always a stand out. 

Aliaga's colourful figurative work is perhaps his most well known, and even the untrained eye can see that there is something more complex going on below the surface of these seemingly simple figures.
