A contemporary artist, Colin made his name and reputation on the international graphic illustration scene. After years of producing photo-realist work, he decided to become a full-time painter, preferring the freedom and lack of constraint it provided in the artistic process. 

His work is very much in the impressionism style and his preferred subject matter is the hustle and bustle of towns and cities. An extensive traveller, he gains inspiration from the many places he visits.
