I have been so busy with the last couple of exhibitions, I missed a blog post entirely. Our Dear Green Place: Exploring the Colours of Glasgow exhibition was fantastic. We had a group of exceptional artists, some new to the gallery and some long-time exhibitors, with us. We were still getting sales on this one until the opening of our new exhibition. The works had been off of the wall for days, but some had seen the exhibition and went away to think about purchases.

After a very quiet start to the year, it has been lovely to see an increase in footfall in the gallery, many new followers on our social media, and an increase in sales, which is heartening. So much work goes into each artwork and in to running the gallery and our exhibitions.

I always ensure to do my best to spotlight each of our exhibiting artists. They put so much time and effort into their work and without them, art galleries would not exist. We appreciate each and every one of them.

Our In Full Bloom exhibition includes 13 artists; Anthony Barber, Carol Binnie, Graham Carter, Jennifer Guest, Collette Howie, John O'Flaherty-Lynch, Emma McLachlan, Ruth Scott, Poonam Sharma, Louise Turnbull and Sandra Vick, with featured artists Lynn and Kerr Rodgie. This exhibition runs until Saturday the 28th June. We hope to see some of you in the gallery.

This exhibition showcases the glory of nature and the summer emerging. Everything is in bloom. The sunshine illuminates the landscape and adds a depth of beauty that the long winter months had almost made us forget. Think vibrant palettes and bursts of colour to awaken the senses and brighten your days.

This exhibition highlights vibrant outdoor spaces and colours, which create a sense of warmth, nostalgia, and joy. With the great expanse evoking the possibilities on the horizon.

These pieces are all on the website and you can have whirlwind tour via our photos and Instagram video below.
